WHAT TO EXPECT
Dev and Paige will invite the kids into circle and introduce this week's theme (a principle of yoga). We will then do some pranayama (cycles of breath) and move into a series of kid-friendly asanas (postures) that support the embodiment of the week's theme.
In our closing circle, the kids will have an opportunity to think about situations in their lives when the yoga principle can be applied.
Our intention is to create a fun, warm environment in which the kids feel honored, upheld and a unique part of something special.

Dev has been working therapeutically and facilitating groups for close to 20 years. She received an ordination from the IM School of Healing Arts in 2004 and received her master’s degree in Somatic Psychology in 2007. She is a Certified Hakomi Therapist and has extensive training in a variety of body-oriented healing modalities, including Somatic Experiencing, trauma resolution therapy, and Biodynamic Cranio-Sacral Therapy, a gentle hands-on alignment of the body's subtle inner rhythms.
